Vorkath

An undead dragon on an island off Rellekka. Five attacks, then a special: the freeze, which calls up a Zombified Spawn you must kill, or acid, which halves the damage Vorkath takes.

An undead dragon on its own island off Rellekka. Talk to the Sailor on the Rellekka docks for a free boat ride over. There's no boat back, so bring a teleport. Vorkath has 750 hitpoints (combat 732) and there's one per world: the arena is shared and single-combat, so if someone is already fighting it, wait your turn. It respawns about 15 seconds after each kill.

The Attack Cycle

Vorkath attacks five times, then uses a special on the sixth. Its ordinary attacks can hit for up to 80, so keep your Hitpoints high. The first special of a fight is always the freeze; after that it alternates between the freeze and acid.

Freeze and the Zombified Spawn

Vorkath freezes you in place for about 10 seconds and summons a Zombified Spawn on your tile. While the spawn is alive Vorkath takes no damage and deals none, so kill the spawn (15 hitpoints) as fast as you can.

Acid

Vorkath spits acid across the arena, and for the next 15 seconds it takes only half damage. Hold your special attacks until it ends.

Rewards

Every kill drops 2 Superior dragon bones and 2 Blue dragonhide, plus one roll on the table below. On separate rolls Vorkath also drops a Scaly blue dragonhide 1 time in 10 and Vorkath's head 1 time in 50. The rarest drops are the Dragonbone necklace (1/1,000), Jar of decay (1/3,000) and the Draconic and Skeletal visages (1/5,000 each). Vorkath's head and the Jar of decay are announced to the whole server.
